In January 2005, Acorn has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Commerce / Commercial Services as a leading exporter in Georgia and received the Export Achievement Certificate for accomplishments in the global market place. Bernard D’Andria, the president of Acorn, has been appointed by the Secretary of Commerce, a member on the North Georgia District Export Council.
